Newsletter - Consent to the processing of personal data

CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

amended according to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as " GDPR")

Concerned person: Customer/subscriber of email or postal newsletters

Joint operators (hereinafter individually only "operator"): Slovak distribution, p. r. o., with registered office Doležalova 3424/15C 821 04 Bratislava, IČO 53 070 992, a company registered in the commercial register kept by the Bratislava District Court, department Ltd., vl. no. 151012/B, and hereafter British American Tobacco (Czech Republic), s.r.o., with registered office at Karolinská 654/2, 186 00 Prague, Czech Republic, ID: 617 75 339, a company registered in the commercial register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, sp. stamp C 35426. 

The designated operators have jointly determined the purposes and means of personal data processing, and are therefore joint operators in the sense of no. 26 GDPR. The common means of processing is the portal zuvaj.sk, through which products are offered, some of which are supplied by the company British American Tobacco (Czech Republic), s.r.o., and which are sold to the affected persons by the company Slovak distribution, s. r. o.. The data obtained through the zuvaj.sk portal for the following purposes will be processed jointly by both operators, i.e. j. each of the listed operators can fulfill the purpose of personal data processing independently, independently of the other operator. 

This means that each of the above-mentioned operators can address the concerned person independently of the other operator - the concerned person can thus be addressed with a newsletter sent by British American Tobacco (Czech Republic ), s.r.o., or the newsletter sent by Slovak distribution, s. r. o.

List of personal data: Email address, first name, last name, telephone number and residential address.

Purposes of personal data processing: Records of personal data for sending marketing offers, market surveys and similar information of a nature direct marketing, the subject of which may be mainly, but not exclusively, nicotine, tobacco and other similar and related products, e.g. electronic cigarettes and replacement refills for them, smokeless tobacco products and devices for heating them, nicotine pouches without tobacco, etc., in paper or email form (collectively only "newsletter").

Personal data must not be further processed in a way that is not compatible with this purpose.

Recipients of personal data: Operator and/or intermediary, which may be a web hosting service provider, marketing campaign manager and so on.

Legal basis for personal data processing: Article 6, par. 1. letter a) GDPR – consent of the person concerned.

Personal data retention period: The duration of the interested person's interest in sending the newsletter, which ends with the withdrawal of consent to processing personal data.

Rights of the person concerned: The person concerned has the right to withdraw his consent at any time, through the active link at the end newsletter, or by addressing a written (also e-mail) request to the operator, whereby consent is revoked only against the operator to whom the withdrawal of consent is addressed. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

The person concerned also has the right to request from the operator access to their personal data, their correction or deletion, or restriction of processing, as well as the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Instruction of the affected person: The affected person is obliged to provide true and up-to-date personal data. In the event of a change in personal data, the person concerned is obliged to immediately notify the operator of the change.

When processing the personal data of the person concerned, there will be no automated decision-making or profiling, while the operator does not intend to transfer personal data to 3rd countries, international organizations or 3rd parties, with the exception of the above-mentioned recipients.
